1. About these terms

These terms apply to every purchase made on ruthssoaps.com and to your use of the site. By placing an order you agree to them.

3. Products

Ruth's Soaps makes handmade soap in small batches. Photos are as accurate as we can make them, but colors and the look of each bar can vary slightly because the soap is made by hand. Each bar is sold for cosmetic washing use only and is not a medical product.

4. Prices and taxes

All prices are in US dollars. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout when you place your order. Applicable sales tax, if any, is calculated at checkout.

Shipping costs $5.90, free on orders of $0.00 or more. Free shipping from California. Delivered in 3 to 5 business days in the US. Orders ship within the United States with a tracking number sent by email.

5. Ordering and payment

You choose your products, review the summary (products, price, shipping), enter your details, then pay. We send an email confirmation of your order. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of suspected fraud or an error in price or stock, in which case you are refunded in full.

Payments are processed on a secure checkout page by card. We never see or store your full card number.

6. Shipping

Delivery times are estimates. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If a package arrives damaged or does not arrive, email us and we will make it right.

7. Money-back promise: 60-day money-back promise

Wash with Ruth's Soaps for 60 days. If you are not happy, email Emily and she refunds you in full. Even if the bar is half gone. Period: 60 days from delivery. To use it, email [email protected]. You do not need to send the product back.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Stop using any product that irritates your skin and consult a doctor if a reaction continues. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in New Mexico, unless the law of your state requires otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order.
